“Love Note”

There are certain things that we just need to stop dealing with. If you don’t like it, get rid of it and if you REALLY don’t want it, STOP using it to fill your emptiness! Why do we torture ourselves?  No one is going to acknowledge your potential, even if they see it, when you’re overlooking it. It’s not anyone else’s job to validate you or your worth and when we learn this, our lives will become easier, more calm and secure. We are so busy seeking love elsewhere that we often forget to look in the mirror. Every day we are granted the blessing to stare love in the face but instead we look past ourselves in hopes that someone else will see our beauty first. We can’t keep forgetting to love ourselves, it’s unfair. Nor should we selfishly wonder why others don’t love us the way we’d like them too if we can’t truly adore who God made us—there is your answer. Stop searching, looking, seeking and driving yourself insane; you’re going to ruin your heart and destroy your mind. Get rid of poisonous people and detrimental attachments. You deserve to be happy and unless you like feeling ruined and unsure, you should openly embrace change and readily stand in love with yourself.  -@Alex_Elle
